What is used
- a small local preference record for the cookie banner choice
- reCAPTCHA-related cookies or similar browser storage from Google when a protected form is loaded or used
Why it is used
- to remember whether you have already seen or dismissed the cookie banner
- to help protect the waitlist and contact forms from automated abuse
Third-party services
Google reCAPTCHA is used on forms. That service may set its own cookies or similar browser storage as part of its abuse-prevention system. If you use the forms, that processing is part of how the forms are protected.
Your options
You can clear browser storage through your browser settings. If you block all cookies or related storage, parts of the site may still work, but protected forms may not.
